Hello! I’m Kendrick, and I’m excited to introduce you to NinetySix Studios, our very own indie game company, launched just this year, 2024. Having been in the game development scene since 2015, it felt right to finally start my own venture. Why not, right?

Why the name NinetySix? Well, for starters, it’s a nod to my birthday, June 9. Plus, I’ve always been fascinated by its mirror-like quality, kind of like the Yin and Yang. And here’s a fun fact: try saying “NinetySix” out loud, and you’ll notice your face naturally forms a smile. Did you catch yourself smiling?

We’re based in General Santos City, a growing town in the southern Philippines. The game development community here is quite small, almost countable on one hand. One of my dreams is to help build and strengthen this community right here in GenSan.

Currently, our team is small, just four of us. It’s hard to say where we’ll all end up. Perhaps some will grow into senior roles within this company, or maybe explore new horizons. Whatever the future holds, each member is pivotal to our beginnings. And, oh, we’re all developers here, lacking an artist among us. For now, we buy all our assets, but we’re hopeful to welcome an artistic soul to our team soon.

So, what’s in store for you? Expect a bunch of fun games from us. With over nine years of experience working for various clients, I’m eager to share all that I’ve learned. We’re all about creating content that not only we’ll love but hopefully, you’ll enjoy too.
